We are very pleased to announce that Elsa Hammond has become one of our ambassadors.
Elsa is passionate about the ocean and its state at the hands of global aquatic pollution. She recently spent 51 days alone at sea in a rowing boat in the Pacific Ocean; originally rowing from California to Hawaii but forced by currents and weather to detour towards Mexico.
Despite these challenges, she was still able to take samples of seawater along the way for a Microplastics study. An Oxford graduate, she is working on a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of Bristol.
A book about her experience of the ocean is under consideration and we look forward to the contribution she can make in spreading the Go Blue Too message!
